MY HOBBIE
One of my favorite hobbies is to take pictures. The following are pictures
that I have taken and edited.
I took this picture July of 2004 in my Dad's wheat field. The
girl that posed for me is my sister Alexis she is 5 years old. After
getting the film developed I was looking through them and this picture
caught my attention from the sharp and vivid details. Turning this
picture into a sepia picture gives it the look I was looking for.
This picture represents harvest from the present to the past. Farming was
and is a way of life in Western NE. Our ancestors broke the land and lived off
their harvest. Now they are gone and we are still farming. This picture was
taken at the Weyerts cemetery north of Lodgepole NE. The picture you see above
in the sky I found out of a newspaper. I wanted this picture to look like as if
the farmers that homesteaded are looking down at the way we harvest now.
This picture was taken west of Sidney NE at the Rezac iris farm. This was
the first picture that started my hobbie in taking pictures.
